Here’s some behind the scenes flicks from the 24HERBS photo-shoot at Studio8:

24HERBS rockin the latest “Respect tou pok kai” tee’s. Get them while they last!

They didn’t get to where they are on just talent alone…these boys have more moves that put “Blue-steel” to shame!

24HERBs showing the evolution of mankind

Pak Sifu…one of the illest!

Drunk representing one of Coup De Grace’s illest tee’s

The last episode for the season of “24Taste” was filmed last night. We were all devastated with the fact that we wont be eating Dor-Yuk’s tantalizing dishes for another season! Dor-Yuk went out with a BANG…succulent foie gras with just enough crisp on the outside to create a mouth-watering explosion! we especially loved the juicy lamb. We don’t know what Dor-Yuk’s special marinating technique is but, whatever he’s doing, he’s doing right. Our only complaint is that there wasn’t more and that we have to wait for another season to eat it again!

Another happy customer^^

As I was walking by one of the busiest streets in HK, I noticed a human sized condom in the corner of my eye! Talk about a really bad summer job, this poor guy had to put on this crazy outfit (questionable white spandex blend) in 30+ degree Celsius heat and on top of that, mean people like myself were taking his picture!

Notice how he’s almost suffocating from trying to cover his face as much as possible?
Typhoon 8 signals were hoisted and in full force in HK and for the first time, I noticed that they put tape on the windows of the shops in case of shattered glass.

Gravis / BurtonJoe Babcock from Gravis came to Hong Kong again, it’s good hanging out with him, always. He’s a good guy and I’m super psyched with his project that he has with Kelly (Kikuta) over at Gravis IVSK8. Both talented cats doing a brand, figure it out yourselves.Joe came with Burton heads (Nick, Andrew, Colin, Joe and Susan). It’s good meeting them heads. I think for those of you who’s into snowboarding, you all know that Burton is the best, period. Nothing can come close.Took them to Shake em Buns and forced them each to try the “Gang Bang” burger (yep that’s the actual name. They did and LOVED it. Dayeem, talking about it, makes me want to go there and get one. I hope Shake Em Buns can sponsor some heads.* Be ready to check out the upcoming Spring/Summer 09 and Fall/Winter 09 of Gravis footwear. I don’t think you guys are ready! Definitely forcing the rest to step their game up. Respect!

Gravis, it was big for a minute back in 1999 - 2001 and was until 2006. It’s always been a big name when it comes to street fashion. Gravis has never been gone for a bit, but now it’s even better, it’s reconstructed. With Kelly Kikuta and Joe Babcock on board handling the DESIGN and DIRECTION. Gravis is going to get bigger and better than it used to be. Plus with their latest skateboarding collection called IVSK8 that officially approved by Mr Arto Saari and Mr Dylan Rieder, Gravis IVSK8 is ready to enter the skateboarding industry in a very legit way! If you don’t agree, just witness any of Arto’s or Dylan’s God-Gifted skills on the skateboard. (check out photos of Arto’s first LTD EDN pro model also known as THE VIKING in high top). Super good quality and good design.Definitely check out Gravis in the upcoming seasons, you all won’t be disappointed.
PS: Congratulations to Arto Saari for the latest member to be abducted by Alien Workshop!

Guch san is the Gravis Brand Director in Japan. I’m so glad to finally be able to meet up with him, genuine vibe and really nice chill head. Let’s do this Guch, gambarimasyo!
